A fatal crash occurred early Sunday morning in Phoenix, leaving one driver dead while the investigation into the cause of the incident continues.
PHOENIX — A person is dead after a crash on Sunday morning, the Phoenix Police Department said.
According to police, officers responded to a call around 2 a.m. near 12th Street and Bell Road for reports of a two-vehicle crash.
Once they arrived on scene, emergency crews found an SUV and a sedan with major damage. Phoenix Fire personnel took one of the drivers to the hospital but they did not survive.
The identity of the victim was not released. The investigation into what led up to the crash is ongoing.
