7 people displaced by apartment fire in Phoenix

A fire in a Phoenix apartment complex Friday night displaced seven residents, but no injuries were reported, according to the Phoenix Fire Department.

PHOENIX — Seven people were displaced following a fire at an apartment complex in Phoenix Friday night.

Crews were called to the complex in the area of 71st Avenue and Indian School Road around 7:45 p.m. for reports of a fire, according to the Phoenix Fire Department.

When they arrived, crews found smoke and fire coming from a unit on the second floor of a two-story apartment building. 

Three units were impacted by the fire and seven people were displaced. 

The Community Assistance Program responded to assist with their needs.

No one was injured in the fire.
