DENVER — Heavy snow has shut down Interstate 70, US 6/ Loveland Pass and US 285 in the mountains, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT).
Much of the state is under a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 8 a.m. Friday.

I-70 is shut down in both directions between the Eisenhower Tunnel and Silverthorne following multiple crashes and vehicle slide-offs. US 6/ Loveland Pass is also closed due to safety concerns.

At 8:50 p.m. Thursday, CDOT announced the closure of US 285 between Willard Street (15 miles north of Fairplay) and Crow Valley (13 miles south of Aspen Park) due to safety concerns.
