Braselton, GA — Mr. Frankie Alan Marra, age 61, formerly of Bridgeport, West Virginia, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2025 at his residence.
He was born on December 2, 1963, in Clarksburg, West Virginia to the late Sammie Marra, Sr. & Corrine Costello Marra. He was a self-employed financial consultant and was of the Catholic faith. He graduated from Bridgeport High School in 1982, where he was a three-sport athlete. He also attended West Virginia University.
Mr. Marra is survived by his brothers, Sammie Marra, Jr. (Janice), of San Antonio, Texas; Joe Marra (Melissa), of Fairmont West Virginia; Davey Marra (Annette), Hogansville, Georgia; sister, Pam Marra, San Antonio, Texas; nephews, Kevin (Heather) Marra, Vienna, West Virginia; Billy Lyon (Rachel), Pikeville, Kentucky; nieces, Samantha Marra, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Mackensie Marra, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; and great-nephews, Chase Marra and Dax Clark of Williamstown, West Virginia, Keaton Lyon and Ethan Lyon of Pikeville, Kentucky and Shane Mauck of Gainesville, Virginia. He is also survived by his four-legged friend, Freddi. In addition to his parents, Mr. Marra was preceded in death by a sister & brother-in-law, Debra Jo & Randy Scheuvront.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ASPCA (www.ASPCA.org) in honor of Mr. Marra’s love and compassion for animals.
