The driver was arrested after coming to a stop on State Route 303 near Cactus Road in Surprise.
SURPRISE, Ariz. — A driver has been charged with DUI after he was pulled over when state troopers noticed him driving as slow as five mph on a Valley freeway, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
In a post on Facebook, AZDPS said that Arizona Highway Patrol Metro Night Watch Troopers saw the car driving very slow on State Route 303 in Surprise.

The driver, who has not been identified, nearly crashed into multiple vehicles before coming to a stop in the middle of the highway near the Cactus Road off-ramp, according to AZDPS.
The driver was arrested and is facing DUI and other charges and DPS said his driver’s license had already been suspended for a past DUI.
Troopers found drug paraphernalia in the car, according to a photo in the department’s Facebook post.
DPS did not say when exactly this arrest happened.
