PINE BLUFF, Ark. — Pine Bluff officers responded to a serious traffic collision on April 12 around 11 p.m. in the area of South Hazel Street and 41st Avenue.
A white Nissan Altima driven by 37-year-old Matthew Williams was driving southbound on South Hazel Street and a GMC Sierra driven by 38-year-old Darrion William was driving northbound.
The two vehicles collided and Darrion was ejected from his vehicle.
Darrion was transported to Jefferson Regional Medical Center and is in critical condition.
Matthew was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
