It’s now the time of year for the THV11 Summer Cereal Drive benefiting the Arkansas Foodbank! Here’s how you can donate.
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Summertime is just around the corner, and that means the THV11 Summer Cereal Drive, one of Arkansas’s largest and best-known hunger relief initiatives, is now in its 25th year.
Anyone interested in donating to the cereal drive can do so through June 27, 2025. This year we’ll be going to more locations than ever before!
We’ll be going to 25 different locations as part of the 25th anniversary!
Here’s what to know about the THV11 Summer Cereal Drive:
Each year, THV11 teams up with the Arkansas Foodbank to help feed kids in Central Arkansas who would otherwise go without breakfast during summer break.
To help those in need, the THV11 Summer Cereal Drive was started in 2000 by Chief Meteorologist Tom Brannon, the THV11 team, and the Arkansas Foodbank.
Since that time, over 4 million boxes of cereal have been donated thanks to Arkansans like you.
Now, we want your help to make this the best year yet!
“Whether you donate $5, $500, or $5,000, I just want you to be a part,” explained Tom Brannon.
For the 25th anniversary, we’re going big! This year, our goal to meet has been set at 500,000 boxes of cereal.

The drive runs each summer through Friday, June 27, 2025.
