MAUMELLE, Ark. — An investigation into a possible drowning in Maumelle is currently underway.
According to reports, at about 3:08 p.m., officers with the Maumelle Police Department and crews with the Maumelle Fire Department were called with reports of a possible drowning that happened near the boat ramp at Park on the River.
Information on what exactly may have happened remains extremely limited at this time.
However, officials with the North Little Rock Fire Department and Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office are currently assisting with the ongoing search.
Police are asking the public to please avoid the area for the time being, and Park on the River is currently closed.
