Bagelfelds on 29th Street and Thomas Road is closed after a building fire on Thursday morning.
PHOENIX — Bagelfelds on 29th Street and Thomas Road has closed after an early morning fire damaged the building, the shop said on Instagram.
Firefighters were called to the shop about 5:30 a.m. for a structure fire report, according to the Phoenix Fire Department.
Arriving units found smoke coming from the roof, fire said.
First responders quickly located the fire on the roof to extinguish the flames. The crew’s quick action prevented the fire from spreading to the rest of the building.
No injuries were reported, officials said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, according to the fire department.
Bagelfelds said customers with online orders will be given a refund.
If you’d like to help Bagelfelds, the second location in Tempe (5154 S Rural Rd, Tempe, AZ 85282) will now be open seven days a week to help with the situation. A fundraising website has also been created to help try raise money to help with repairs.
