Police are asking to avoid the area of 85th and Peoria avenues due to an ongoing investigation.
PHOENIX — One person died and one was injured in a rollover incident in Peoria, the city police department said.
Officers responded to a call of a single-vehicle rollover collision Friday night near 83rd and Peoria avenues, according to Peoria police.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found that there were two people traveling in the vehicle. One of the individuals was pronounced dead at the scene, and the other one was transported to a local hospital. The extent of the injuries is unknown.
The area of 85th and Peoria avenues remained closed for several hours during the investigation.
