Pine Bluff gas station shooting leaves two dead, two injured

According to reports, a group of males exchanged gunfire in front of the gas station at 101 North Blake, resulting in two deaths and injuring two others.

PINE BLUFF, Ark. — The Pine Bluff Police Department is investigating after a shooting took place at the gas station at 101 North Blake.

When officers arrived, they found one male lying near the front door and another in the parking lot. Both victims had suffered apparent gunshot wounds.

The first male was later pronounced dead at the scene, while the other male was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving. 

Police later identified two more males a few blocks away, who had reportedly also been shot. One is expected to be released from the hospital soon, while the other is reportedly undergoing surgery.

According to witnesses at the scene, a group of males exchanged gunfire in front of the store, resulting in the deaths of two males and the injuries of another two. 

The identities of the deceased will be released once the next of kin have been notified. The other suspects have been identified as 36-year-old DeShawn Sanders and 23-year-old VonKavious Briggs. Once they’re released from the hospital, they will be arrested for two counts each of capital murder.
