A 19-year-old motorcycle rider died in a crash after allegedly performing stunts in Tolleson, police said.
TOLLESON, Ariz. — A motorcycle rider is dead after a crash in Tolleson, the city’s police department said.
On Sunday, just before 1 a.m., Tolleson Police officers were sent to the scene near 83rd Avenue and Buckeye Road for reports of a motorcycle crash.
When they arrived on scene, officers found a 19-year-old motorcycle rider who had hit a curb. Police said the crash resulted in a fatality.
During an initial investigation, police determined a group of vehicles, including the involved motorcycle, was gathered in the empty parking lot exhibiting speed and/or performing stunts.
The investigation is ongoing.
