Region Sees Building Once Offering Targeted Care on Health Front Have New Tenant with Same Service

According to WDTV, Valley Health Care Eye Care Center is now serving Randolph County with its new location in Elkins.

Formerly Dr. Gongola’s Office and Randolph County Eye Care Center, officials say the center will build on Dr. Gongola’s trusted legacy.

“We are so grateful for everything Dr. Gongola and her team have given to this community,” said Jordan Godwin, CEO, Valley Health Care. “What she built, the trust, the relationships, the standard of care, is the heart of this center. Our goal is to honor that legacy every single day while expanding our capacity to reach even more of our neighbors.”

Officials say that as part of Valley Health Care’s family, Valley Health Care Eye Care Center will keep the same familiar, patient-first approach while adding the infrastructure and resources of a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).

The ribbon cutting was held Monday, May 11.
