The Pine Bluff Police Department has begun an investigation after a deceased body was found in a ravine on the early morning of May 16, 2026.
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — May 16, 2026, around 9:31 a.m. Pine Bluff Police Department (PBPD) responded to the 3900 block between Cherry Street and Linden Street after a nearby resident discovered a deceased male in a ravine.
The resident found the body of a Black male, unnamed at this time, while cutting grass.Â
Detectives have initiated an investigation and are transporting the deceased to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory to determine the cause of death.
Further information will be available as the case pends further and the next of kin is notified.
