An accident at a U.S. Route 50 intersection in Harrison County that has seen multiple incidents involved a pair of vehicles and resulted in a temporary road closure.
The Reynoldsville Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to the accident. The arrived to find a T-bone style wreck with two vehicles at the Wilsonburg intersection.
Due to the accident, the area saw heavy amounts of vehicle fluid and debris from the vehicles scattered across parts of Route 50. The RVFD said it was a “hazard for motorists.”
Fortunately, no one was seriously hurt in the injury. The Harrison County Emergency Squad evaluated occupants of both vehicles. All evaluated refused transport for medical treatment at United Hospital Center.
The vehicles involved were a dark-colored Lexus four-door sedan and a white Ford truck.
The Harrison County Sheriff’s Department was also on the scene. They will oversee the investigation.
