Vehicle Lands on Top, Medical Transport Required as First Responders Manage Harrison County Accident


One individual was transported for medical treatment during a holiday weekend accident in Harrison County.


 


According to the Reynoldsville Volunteer Fire Department, they were dispatched to a call for single motor vehicle accident that included injuries and entrapment. The call was along Gregory’s Run near Turkey Foot Hollow Road.


 


The entrapment call required mutual aid. The Nutter Fort Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene to assist with entrapment.


 


Upon arrival by first responders, they found a single vehicle that had overturned. However, the driver of the vehicle had already made it out and extraction was no longer required.


 


The Harrison County Emergency Squad assisted on the scene and transported the individual driving the vehicle to United Hospital for evaluation. There was no information available on the condition of the driver.


 


Along with the initial work on the scene, fire personnel secured the area and worked to clean the roadway. The wreck left debris and vehicle fluids in the road and staff worked to make sure road condition were optimum for opening it back to traffic.


 


The Harrison County Sheriff’s Department was also on the scene to help. The HCSD is overseeing the investigation.
