TEMPE, Ariz. — Multiple law enforcement units are on the scene at the Mariott Phoenix Resort Tempe at the Buttes.
Officers are asking the public to stay away from an active situation in the area of Westcourt Way.

Multiple police vehicles were visible from Sky12.
Officers are working with DPS following an incident that began on the freeway and the suspect then fled to the resort, according to Tempe Police.
There are two gunshot victims, however the severity of their injuries is not known by officers at the time.
One suspect is in custody and officers say there is not a threat to the public at this time.
Officers are working to clear the resort for any victims and evidence.
