For those wondering the location, it is just past the Main Street intersection with Pike Street. The area in question has been one of the most heavily worked on areas during Clarksburg’s recent infrastructure process.
While work is wrapping up on the infrastructure, work is progressing on a new branch of Snouffer’s Fire & Safety, which is headquartered in Ohio, as the new owners are building a shop for the business. The company, as its name suggests, deals in fire protection equipment and services.
According to a family member, the project is being done in phases. The total estimated cost is between $300,000 and $500,000. To date, nearly $150,000 has been spent on a lot that has been vacant for years.
The address of the property is 660 West Main Street, Clarksburg. A tentative opening date of September 1 is in place.
Brandon Hudkins with Three Sixty Solutions is the general contractor. Some of the work is being subcontracted out.
