After losing a trio of reserve defensive backs to the transfer portal, Auburn football is reportedly set to lose its biggest contributor yet.
Offensive lineman Bradyn Joiner told On3 that he plans to enter the transfer portal, becoming the fourth Tiger to do so since practice ended. The spring portal window officially opens on April 16.
Joiner started at guard throughout the second half of the season in 2024, being named to the Southeastern Conference All-Freshman team. However, the transfer additions of Xavier Chaplin and Mason Murphy made Joiner’s path back to a starting role a little less clear.
With Chaplin presumably taking over at left tackle, Dillon Wade and Jeremiah Wright are expected to start at the two guard spots. Joiner took reps at center during spring practice, but that starting job seems to still belong to Connor Lew, who missed the spring with an injury.
Joiner finished his high school career at Auburn High School and will now have three years of eligibility remaining at his next school.
