Brush fire closes US 60 near Wickenburg

ADOT said there is currently no estimated reopening time.

PHOENIX — US 60 is closed in both directions near Wickenburg due to a brush fire, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation. 

The closure is in effect at milepost 111. 

The Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management said the fire started in a river bottom southeast of Wickenburg.

The department estimates the fire is about 15 acres and air attack has been launched. 

ADOT said they do not have an estimated time for when the highway will reopen.
