A business that prevously had a location at the Meadowbrook Mall and then opened a location in Middletown Commons late in 2023 is closing its Marion County location, according to a social media post.
Donna’s Unique Gifts & Collectibles announced it will be closing at the end of this month or next. The store will keep its location at the Morgantown Mall open.
The post from the business Facebook page reads as follows:
“It is with great regret that we announce the permanent closure of our Middletown Commons Location. For the past months, we have been operating at a loss, utilizing resources from other locations to sustain this one. We have explored all avenues to break even and continue operations but have not been able to find a solution.
“In light of this, we are offering discounts of 20-75% OFF on most items by posting on our Facebook page. Most fixtures are also for sale!
We extend our sincere gratitude to our customers for their support during our tenure at this location. Regrettably, Despite our best efforts, we have been unable to achieve viability.
“Please note that our Morgantown Mall location will remain operational, and we invite our customers to visit us there that location is a bigger with more to offer. We anticipate closure by the end of March or April.”
