Clarksburg Amp Announces Two Free Events as Part of Summer Concert Series and More Performances

The Clarksburg Amphitheater is bringing another electrifying summer of live music to North Central West Virginia with two FREE EVENTS as part of its highly anticipated 2025 Summer Concert Series. These shows will complement an incredible season lineup that includes six ticketed concerts, the beloved Shakespeare in the Park in mid-August, and the July 3rd Wheeling Symphony performance.

The two free concerts will showcase top-tier local talent from the tri-state area, each offering a unique and energetic experience:

[80s Tribute Band] – Taking audiences on a nostalgic journey through one of music’s most iconic decades, this band delivers an authentic and high-energy 80s experience.

[R&B Cover Band] – Bringing smooth vocals and infectious grooves, this group will have the audience dancing in the aisles with timeless R&B hits.

As always, general admission seating will be available for the entire amphitheater for both free events, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the performances.

“We had our eye on these groups for a while, and landing them is a huge win for the City Parks Department. Their energy and sound are exactly what we wanted for these free events, and we can’t wait to hear them strike the first note. Combined with our ticketed concerts, this season is shaping up to be one of our best yet,” Clarksburg City Parks Superintendent Doug Comer said.

While we have sprinkled a couple ticketed events, the full 2025 Summer Concert Series lineup will be announced in early spring, featuring a dynamic mix of Christian, country, rock, 80s, 90s, and more. Additional headliners and special guests will be revealed soon, promising a diverse and exciting concert experience for all music lovers.
