FROM THE CLARKSBURG POLICE DEPARTMENT
The Clarksburg Police Department has announced its March Officer of the Month, and it is Sergeant Laura McGlone.
During the month of March 2025, McGlone showed exemplary performance and a valuable service to the city by focusing her efforts on reducing serious traffic crashes by enforcing impaired driving incidents.
McGlone issued 26 traffic citations, two misdemeanor citations, made two felony and 14 misdemeanor arrests. Of these arrests, four were for DUI and one was apprehending a fugitive from justice.
