The Clarksburg Police Department recently had its newest hire administered the oath to serve by Clarksburg City Clerk Annette Wright inside of Council chambers at Clarksburg City Hall.
Officer Christopher Hesson was given the oath as Police Chief Mark Kiddy looked on. Hesson joins the Clarksburg Police Department after serving as a United States Pentagon Police Officer.
Hesson, during the ceremony that took place back on March 3, was in the process of obtaining his equipment and was being set up to be paired with field training officers to take care of necessary training.
