The burger icon out of Russellville said it’s officially closing on Friday night.
RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. — An iconic Arkansas burger restaurant has announced that it will officially be closing its doors on Friday night.
Feltner Brothers Whatta-Burger said in a Facebook post that it will serve its last customers on May 8 after 58 years of service.
“We are heartbroken to say goodbye, but we are also incredibly grateful for every single person who supported us over the years,” the restaurant said in its social media post. “Thank you for every order, every share, every kind word, every laugh, and every memory made inside these walls.”
Founded in 1967 by Robert Feltner, the Russellville staple was known for its smash burgers, fries, hot dogs, and milkshakes.
The Facebook post urged customers to stop by the restaurant one last time before it closes for good at 9 p.m.
