CAMDEN, Ark. — The Arkansas Department of Agriculture’s Forestry Division is working to extinguish a large fire near Camden in the proximity of the Highland Park area.
According to a statement from the Arkansas Department of Agriculture, eight bulldozer crews are attempting to put out the fire.
Officials believe the fire has burned about 1,200 acres and said it is only 20% contained.
Air tankers will continue to make drops until dark.
The Highland Park area is not threatened by the fire at this time.
