WITTMANN, Ariz. — A crash between a golf cart and a dump truck on an Arizona highway left one person dead early Thursday morning, Department of Public Safety officials confirmed.
The crash happened on US 60 westbound near Patton Road in Wittmann, according to early reports. The right lane is blocked, officials said.
It’s unknown what led up to the crash, or why the golf cart was on the highway. In Arizona, it’s illegal for golf carts to be driven on public roads with speed limits over 35 miles per hour.
