‘Gypsy Rose: Life After Lockup’ season 2 premiere: How to watch, where to stream free

A new season of Gypsy Rose: Life After Lockup premieres on Lifetime Monday, March 10 at 9/8c.

Season two will follow Gypsy Rose Blanchard as she navigates her shocking pregnancy, which comes just six months after her release from prison.

Due to the fact she is still on parole, Gypsy deals with restrictions and must balance bouncing between two households: one in New Orleans with her boyfriend Ken and one with her dad Rod and his wife Kristy, further down the bayou.

Where can I watch season 2 for free?

Those interested in watching season two of Gypsy Rose: Life After Lockup can stream the show for free through Philo or DirecTV Stream. Both streaming services offer free trials to new subscribers, but Philo remains the better deal at just $28 a month after its 7-day free trial.

Season two of the hit reality docuseries is also available for streaming through Sling, though as of now, there is no free trial for subscribers. Instead, new Sling users can enjoy half off the first month with any subscription plan.

What is Philo?

Philo is considered one of the cheapest basic cable alternatives on the market now. Users can access over 70 live TV channels for just $28 a month after the 7-day free trial.

Along with Lifetime, some of Philo’s most popular channels includes MTV, HGTV, AMC, CMT, TLC, BET, Discovery Channel and more. Philo subscribers can also stream an impressive collection of movies and TV shows on-demand easily.

Recording favorite content is easy with Philo, too. Through Philo’s unlimited DVR feature, users can record favorite content without worrying about having enough space to do so.

What is DirecTV Stream?

DirecTV Stream offers subscribers an abundance of live TV channels and helpful features, too. Its base package starts at just $86.99 a month after the 5-day free trial expires and includes channels such as HGTV, ESPN, Bravo, CMT, CNBC, BET, CNN and more.

Those interested can check out all DirecTV Stream’s channel packages here.

What is Sling?

Sling is another streaming service to consider. Though no free trial is available to new subscribers, those interested in committing to a paid plan get half off the first month.

Both the Sling Orange plan and the Sling Blue plan are normally $45.99 a month, but with the current promotion, users will pay just $23 a month for the first month.

For those who wish to access channels from both the Sling Blue and Sling Orange plans can do so by signing up for the Orange + Blue plan, which combines the best of both plans for just $60.99 a month ($30.50 for the first month).

What is Gypsy Rose: Life After Lockup about?

According to Lifetime’s synopsis of the show, the series is an authentic and raw look at Gypsy’s new life on the outside. From the joyful moments as she is free to make her own decisions for the first time, to the challenges of navigating life and relationships while facing her past.

Gypsy must reconcile the pop-culture, celebrity version of herself while trying to forge her new identity in a “normal” world as a wife, sister, daughter, and most of all—a free woman.
