Harrison County Assessor and Sheriff’s Offices Reveal 2026 Assessment and Tax Satellite Days, Locations

The Harrison County Assessor’s Office, in collaboration with the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office, is pleased to announce the 2026 Assessment & Tax Satellite Days.


 


Harrison County Assessor, Allen R. Ferree, and Sheriff, Robert Matheny II, will be providing convenient, in-person assistance throughout the county with Individual Personal Property and Business Assessments, acquiring dog tags, the WV State Farm Census, and new Homestead/Disability Exemption Applications.


 


Residents are also able to make payments for Personal Property and/or Real Estate taxes at these satellite locations—no tax bill is required at the time of payment. 


 


Satellite Locations and Dates:


    


JULY

16th: Clarksburg Senior Center – 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM

20th: Benedum Civic Center – 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM

24th: Shinnston Legion – 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM

28th: Meadowbrook Mall – 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM

30th: Salem City Building – 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM


AUGUST

5th: Lost Creek Community Building – 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM

7th: East View Community Building – 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM

12th: West Milford Community Building – 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM

14th: Lumberport United Methodist Church – 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM

18th: Stonewood Fire Department – 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM

20th: Spelter Fire Department – 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM

25th: Summit Park Fire Department – 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM

26th: General Services Building – 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
