According to the Nutter Fort Volunteer Fire Department, they were alerted to a motor vehicle accident with injuries and ejected at 6:47 a.m. on Independence Day. The accident took place on Buckhannon Pike in Quiet Dell along the area of Chicken Inn Hill.
The Nutter Fort Fire Department was assisted on the scene by an ambulance from the Anmoore Emergency Squad. Anmoore transported at least one person from the scene. There was no information on the number of injuries or the severity.
However, in a Facebook post by the NFVFD, it noted that HealthNet was launched. It ended up landing at Norwood Park in Nutter Fort after the initial landing zone at the Interstate 79 and U.S. Route 30 overpass area unavailable due to fog.
The Harrison County Sheriff’s Department was also on the scene. No further information was available.
