FRANCE 24 spoke to Amos Yadlin, a former head of Israeli military intelligence (2006-2010), to analyse the shifting balance of power in the Middle East as Donald Trump prepares to return to the White House. Yadlin noted that there is “a lot of consideration about whether to attack Iran’s nuclear facilities or not”. With Trump in power, Yadlin believes that an Israeli-led attack on Iran’s nuclear sites is more likely, in part to show that “America is leading again”.
