Little Rock student selected for medical leadership program at Harvard University

Little Rock 8th-grade student Kennedy Scarbrough has been selected to attend the Congress of Future Medical Leaders hosted at Harvard University.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark — An 8th-grade student from Little Rock has been selected for the Congress of Future Medical Leaders.

Kennedy Scarbrough received the invitation to the nationally recognized honors program hosted at Harvard University due to her excellent academic performance, leadership potential, and interest in medicine. 

During the program, she will have the opportunity to network with other high-achieving students from around the nation alongside Nobel Prize laureates, renowned surgeons, medical researchers, and innovators shaping the future of healthcare.

“We are incredibly honored by this opportunity. Kennedy has worked hard to earn this recognition, and attending the Congress would be a life-changing experience that helps shape her future,” said Dr. DuShun Scarbrough,  who is Kennedy’s father.
