Meadowbook Mall’s Limited Vacant Space Becomes More Limited as Business has Ribbon-Cutting Event

There is a new business in at Meadowbrook Mall as one of the few vacant storefronts in the Bridgeport retail hub has its doors open.

On Tuesday, officials from the Harrison County Chamber of Commerce were joined by representatives from the mall for a ribbon cutting ceremony welcoming Piercings N More to Bridgeport.

“We’re excited to have them as part of our roster,” said Meadowbrook Mall Property Manager Robin Urquhart. “This is a different type of venue for that kind of store and the work they have done inside has made it a beautiful store. It is a match to Boscov’s looks, which is sharp. The tile work is beautiful.”

The business is across the hallway from Showtime Music, which is near Boscov’s. It is in the space formerly held by GOAL, which was once Four Horseman Comics and Gaming.

As the name suggests, the business offers full body piercings from trained and licensed piercers. The company also says it offers West Virginia’s largest selection of body jewelry featuring titanium, diamonds and 14KT gold. They also have plenty of additional offerings.

“They’re already seeing good business from our mall employees,” said Urquhart. “They’re here, they’re open, and we want to make sure shoppers stop by to see what they offer and give them a try.”

Piercings N More is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. They are open on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Urquhart said the owners are Rocco Cunningham and Matthew Friedman.
