Lauren Watkins received a gun from Morgan Wallen as an end-of-tour gift.
Watkins, who opened for Wallen’s “One Night at a Time Tour,” told “Taste of Country Nights” it was a result of the country music singer telling Wallen about her down time.
“I just texted him the turkey I killed the other day,” she said.
She was asked about why she would share that information.
“Well, he gifted me a gun for end of tour,” she explained.
“I’ve always been a turkey hunter, so I was like, ‘Oh this is perfect, I could use this.’”

The “Gatlinburg” singer explained it wasn’t as simple as him wrapping one and handing it to her.
“We share an agent, so it was there at the office waiting for me,” she said. “They were like, ‘Hey, we got a surprise for you, you might want to come by and see it.’”
