Police are asking the public for information after a man was found with a gunshot wound in Phoenix.
PHOENIX — A man was hospitalized after being found with a gunshot wound in Phoenix, the city’s police department said.
Around 10 a.m. on Sunday, officers were sent to a scene near 27th Avenue and Ocotillio Road for reports of a shooting. Officers ultimately found a man with a gunshot wound once they arrived on scene, officials said.
Emergency crews arrived on scene and took the man to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities added that officers were unable to find the scene of the incident.
Anyone with information should call the police or SILENT WITNESS at 480(WITNESS) or 480(TESTIGO).
The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
