Rep. Brandon Achor announces candidacy for Arkansas State Senate District 13

State Representative Brandon Achor, a Maumelle resident and conservative leader, announced his candidacy for Arkansas State Senate District 13 on Tuesday.

MAUMELLE, Ark. — State Representative Brandon Achor announced his candidacy for Arkansas State Senate District 13 on Tuesday, May 6.

Achor is serving his second term in the Arkansas House of Representatives for District 71 and has sponsored bills addressing election integrity, education reform through the LEARNS Act and economic growth.

Achor has also voted for stricter legislation involving China and worked to pull licenses from pharmacies owned by Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs).

“I’m running for State Senate to keep delivering for the people of District 13,” said Achor. “I’ve Lowered Taxes, stood up to Foreign Adversaries, fought Big Tech’s overreach, and taken on big Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs) to protect Arkansas families and businesses. I’ll bring that same tenacity to the Senate to defend our freedoms and strengthen our communities.”

Achor is a lifelong Maumelle resident and a conservative leader who wants to work towards “Arkansas values, economic prosperity, and accountability in the Arkansas Senate.”

The current representative for District 13 is Jane English, but English is term-limited and unable to seek re-election.

Parts of Pulaski County, including Maumelle, North Little Rock, Sherwood and surrounding areas make up Senate District 13.
