The idol of Vaishnavite saint Bhagavad Ramanuja decorated with jewels commemorating his 1009th birth anniversary in Tirupati on Wednesday.

The 1009thbirth anniversary of philosopher-saint Bhagavad Ramanuja was observed across temples, universities and institutions in Tirupati on Wednesday.
The 10-day festivities conducted by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) concluded with a grand procession of Ramanuja’s idol along with the deities of Sri Govindaraja and his consorts Sridevi and Bhudevi around the temple streets in the evening.
