Doughnuts filled with cheese, topped with a golden crust of Ramen noodles.

Cheese pizza dipped in corn dog batter, dusted with Cheetos seasoning, and tossed in the deep fryer.

They’re just some of the artery-clogging items featured on this summer’s Calgary Stampede menu.

The lineup may seem a little less daunting than last year for food aficionados, who got the chance to chow down on mopane worm poutine.

Ashley Warner, the Stampede’s midway manager, say exhibitors spend months developing imaginative and exclusive dishes.

“It’s about delivering outrageously bold, fun and irresistible creations that give guests new ways to experience the excitement, creativity and spirit of the Calgary Stampede,” she said as the menu was unveiled Thursday.

The 10-day annual rodeo and exhibition runs July 3 to 12.
