According to WDTV, the Brookhaven Fire Department and the Cheat Lake VFD responded to a working fire in a row of townhouses in Morgantown at 12:50 a.m. on April 14.
Upon arrival, the fire department confirmed a working fire in four apartments at Lakeside Village in Morgantown.
Mon EMS arrived on scene and treated a patient with possible burns; the patient’s condition is unknown at this time.
The Brookhaven VFD, Westover VFD, Star City VFD, Cool Springs VFD, Clinton District VFD, Cheat Lake VFD, Triune-Halleck FD, Monongalia EMS and Monongalia County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene.
The state fire marshal’s office was notified to conduct the investigation.
